There are three prayers that I pray every day:

I Chronicles 4:10:

“Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let Your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.”

Isaiah 50:4:

“The Sovereign Lord has given me an instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught.”

Matthew 6:9-13:

“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, for yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”

I have found that these three prayers help me to focus on who God is, and who I am in Him.

I am convinced that the only thing that matters while I am here on this earth is what I do for the kingdom of God. Everything else will soon fade away…therefore, ”Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:19-21)

My prayer for you and me as Christ-followers is that our hearts WILL BE with our Father in heaven, and that we would live our lives accordingly until we see Him face to face.

My prayer for you is that these songs would bring you into a deeper intimacy with our Father, and that they would simply give you an opportunity to worship Him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:23)

Feel free to use these songs in your churches and youth groups.

If you would like chord charts for a particular song, they are all posted under the Blog section on my myspace page.

Following Jesus isn’t as much an uphill climb as it is a downward descent.

Jesus preached a very challenging and oftentimes convicting message. He commanded us to...

“GO…into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.” (Mark 16:15)

“PRAY…for those who persecute you.” (Matthew 5:44)

“GIVE…to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.” (Luke 6:30)

“SERVE…just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” (Matthew 20:28)

“LOVE…one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:34, 35)

I believe that God is raising up a new group of people who are willing to abandon themselves for the sake of Him and His kingdom (Luke 18:29); a group of people that will go, pray, give, serve, and love.

Don’t let me or anyone else decide for you what your mission is. Let Jesus. The most important thing that you can do if you are a follower of Jesus is to listen to Him. Obey His teachings…your life and ministry will have significance if you do this.

As for me, I will go. I will pray. I will give. I will serve. I will love.

This is my mission.
